Juan N. Otheguy, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Otheguy received his medical degree from the Univeridad Central Del Caribe School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. He completed general surgery at the San Juan City Hospital. His urological residency was attained at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Center, the primary trauma center for the Caribbean, aquiring a vast experience in general and urological surgery. Dr. Otheguy was involved in a research fellowship that led to one of the first medical therapies approved for prostatism. Dr. Otheguy has been practicing urology in the state of Florida for over 15 years. He has served as co-chairman of surgery at North Bay Medical Center and as a sitting board member of the Bay Renal Stone Center. Dr. Otheguy has been nominated in "Who's Who In Medicine" as one of the top physicians in his field. Dr. Otheguy treats all aspects of urology with special interest in cancer surgery, urinary incontinence and in the evaluation and treatment of impotence.
He is an active member of the American Urologic Association, The Southeastern Section of the AUA, The American Medical Association and The American Association of Clinical Urologists.
Dr. Otheguy is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Richard I. Rabinowitz, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Rabinowitz attended college at Brandeis University in Waltham Massachusett where he majored in Biology and graduated cum laude. He went on to obtain his medical degree from Northwestern Univiersity Medical School in Chicago with honors in surgery and urology. Northwestern is recognized as one of the top 20 medical schools in the United States. Dr. Rabinowitz then went on to complete his general surgery internship and his urology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, recognized as one of America's top ten urological programs. Dr Rabinowitz received specialized training in performing the nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy. He also furthered his abilities through advanced training in endourology and laser treatment of stone disease by one of the field's leading experts.
Dr. Rabinowitz has been practicing urology in the state of Florida for over 10 years. He has served as both the Chief of Surgery and the Vice-Chief of Surgery for the local hospital for three years.
He is an active member of the American Urologic Association, The Southeastern Section of the AUA, The American Medical Association and The American Association of Clinical Urologists.
Dr. Rabinowitz is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
